I am a chiropractor because I love helping people feel better, move better, and improve their quality of life. Knowledge is power so I love educating my patients on how to live a healthier life. I have been practicing chiropractic since 2011. In February 2025, I became certified in dry needling for the upper body, which expanded the treatment options I can offer for pain, muscle tension, and movement dysfunction.
My clinical interests with dry needling include treating upper-body conditions such as neck pain, upper back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, golfers/tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, muscle tightness, trigger points, and postural strain. I enjoy treating people of all ages but especially love treating athletes to help them improve their biomechanics which helps improve their athletic performance.
I am originally from Johnston, Iowa, and graduated from Johnston High School in 2005. I attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri, and graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April 2011. I owned my own practice in Evergreen, Colorado from 2012-2021. I relocated my family to Iowa to be closer to family.
When I’m not at the office, I’m usually spending time running my boys around to their various sports practices and games. I’m in the soccer-mom phase of life. I’m an avid gardener and love to bike, hike and go to our lake house in northwest Iowa.
