What is dry needling?
Dry needling is a safe, evidence-informed technique used to treat muscle pain and movement dysfunction. It targets tight bands of muscle known as trigger points, which can develop from injury, repetitive strain, poor posture, or stress. By gently inserting a thin, sterile needle into these areas, dry needling helps reduce muscle tension, improve blood flow, and stimulate the body’s natural healing response. This can decrease pain, restore mobility, and help muscles function more efficiently.
